| Civil Law
Most civil law cases generally involve citizens or companies suing other citizens or companies. Sometimes criminal cases can have a civil component to them. For instance, when a citizen is physically attacked and injured, the state will charge the aggressor with a crime. The harmed citizen is also able to sue the aggressor for costs associated with the physical injury.
Most civil law suits fall into a readily recognizable list of complaints, see below. Many civil matters may also be resolved without having to go to court - indeed, amicable settlement is the rule, rather than the exception, to most disputes. We can assist in drafting complaints and correspondence, as well as filing court papers and pursuing litigation.
Though the majority of our clients are located in Fairfield County and the immediate vicinity (Pickerington, Reynoldsburg, Lancaster, etc.,) we welcome inquiries from businesses and individuals throughout central Ohio.
